The Site Manager serves as a dynamic leader and mentor, responsible for guiding and supporting a community of volunteers in Richmond, Virginia. This role is central to fostering a faith-based, intentional community while overseeing volunteer development, service placements, and day-to-day program operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Leadership & Program Management
Supervise and mentor volunteers, ensuring accountability and growth
Lead weekly team meetings and coordinate program-wide activities
Plan and facilitate orientation and end-of-year experiences

Community Building & Formation
Foster a Christ-centered, intentional living community
Lead weekly community nights (prayer, meals, reflection)
Plan retreats and facilitate ongoing formation and reflection programming
Support volunteers’ personal, spiritual, and emotional well-being

Service Site Development
Build and manage partnerships with community organizations
Identify and oversee volunteer placement sites
Conduct site visits and evaluate volunteer experiences

Professional Development
Guide volunteers in career discernment and skill-building
Provide coaching on workplace readiness and professional expectations
Facilitate regular reflections and one-on-one meetings

Operations & Safety
Oversee volunteer housing, transportation, and program logistics
Ensure safety protocols and community engagement with local partners
Participate in an on-call rotation for volunteer support

Recruitment & Outreach
Support recruitment efforts and represent the program at events
Participate in candidate interviews and selection process

Communications
Assist with storytelling, social media, and volunteer engagement content
Support blogs, newsletters, and other communications initiatives

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Pastoral Care)
5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
Experience working with young adults
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build relationships across diverse communities
Alignment with and openness to supporting a Catholic, faith-based mission
Must be located in Richmond, Virginia

Qualifications Preferred:
Master’s Degree
Experience in service programs, ministry, or intentional community living
Background in healthcare, education, or social services
Public speaking, training, or facilitation experience
