Seeking a Coordinator of Ignatian Retreats

About the Role: Holy Trinity Catholic Church, a dynamic Jesuit parish in Washington, DC, seeks an energetic, trained individual to plan, organize and execute various retreats (in daily life), collaborating with a highly-qualified retreat team. The incumbent will also help us to expand our retreat offerings, support Holy Trinity’s highly regarded Ignatian training program, and expand opportunities for spiritual growth for our parishioners and others. Our retreat program aims to draw in new participants to nurture Ignatian prayer and practice in a new generation of the faithful. The incumbent reports to the pastoral associate for Ignatian Spirituality and will be part of a collaborative team that includes theologians, retreat guides and trained spiritual directors.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a practicing Roman Catholic with the following attributes: a degree in theology, ministry or related field; at least 2-3 years of experience as a spiritual director, trained as a giver of St. Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises (or completing training), experience facilitating prayer groups and retreats, and extensive familiarity with and practice of Ignatian Spirituality. She/he should be a skilled communicator, adept at working with volunteers, discrete, and open to give and receive mentoring. He/she should also be conversant in office software, on-line meeting technology and basic budgeting.

For this full-time position, we can offer a salary in the range of $65-$75 thousand a year, including health insurance and other benefits. Regular weekend and evening work is required.
