The VPFA is responsible for all phases of business and fiscal affairs including financial planning and budgeting; accounting and business operations; financial reports and audits; treasury functions; human resources; facilities management, including planning and construction; procurement and contracting; auxiliary operations and services; information technology; campus safety; risk management; State and Federal reporting; and articulating and implementing a strategic plan for Finance and Administrative Services which aligns with the College’s strategic plan. In addition to internal management responsibilities, the VPFA serves as the liaison and support to the Finance, Investments, Audit and Administrative Operations, and Compensation committees of the Board of Trustees.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in business or finance and several years of progressively responsible and successful experience in financial affairs and operations management of a complex organization. Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA or graduate degree in business or finance, and experience in higher education.
