The work is comprehensive, related to all aspects of parish life, particularly areas of leadership and administrative management. At the same time, the Pastoral Associate has designated responsibilities, dependent upon the needs of the parish, and the background, experience, education, and abilities of the Pastoral Associate.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in management, leadership, theology, pastoral studies, or related field (a Master’s degree is preferred) as well as 3-5 years in a leadership position. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of accounting and database programs. This pastoral, self-motivated, detailed individual will have a sense of vision, urgency and the proven ability to motivate, mentor and lead both staff and volunteers for the parish of next generations.
