Jesuit Volunteers (JVs) are invited to engage in one or more years of full-time service with local organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest. JVs serve alongside and accompany communities, while reflecting on social structures and cultures that contribute to inequity, in order to co-create a more just and equitable world. JVs live together in community, serving in both urban and rural locales across Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
JVC Northwest is an AmeriCorps program, meaning that we are part of a network of over 75,000 volunteers serving across the country. Our AmeriCorps partnership comes with great benefits for our JVs, including a $7,000+ Education Award.
With more than a dozen types of service across 14 urban and rural locales, there is space to find service that fits who you want to become and how you want to grow. Service begins August 1, 2026. The sooner you apply, the more roles will be available to you. Admission is rolling through May 26, 2026 (or until all roles are filled).
Take your next steps committed to the common good and embraced by community. Learn more, including how to apply, about serving as a Jesuit Volunteer in the Pacific Northwest at jvcnorthwest.org.
